I love this tree and pass it a few times each week. It was hard to photograph with the power lines there. I am too lazy to photoshop them out right now.

I knew I was starting to settle in to life South of the Mason-Dixon Line when I uttered "Well, bless your heart" and "eh" in the same breath. Even though I was raised in the Mid-West, I'll always have a part of Ontario left in me. I love my new life in the South.

Isn't it frustrating how you look at something and plan to take a picture of it, oblivious to everything that is around it? And then you pull out your camera, start to zoom in, and realize that there is a power line or a crane or something in front of your brilliantly planned shot? That happens to me all the time... Especially with cranes. France seems to be obsessed with cranes.
