All of the boys played basketball this morning after they inhaled 3 recipes of pancakes and 2 packages of bacon. Once again, you only get to see MY kid!

Poor Pablo is so sick.
We think he has a respiratory infection. Craig’s been treating him with bird biotic and pedia light. Poor little guy.

Birthday invites for Max went out this year by text. This was for his friend, Tyler. He didn’t have a cell number for him. We figured out after the party that Tyler is the son of Aaron’s classroom teacher. Small world!

I interviewed for an elementary parapro job last week and I got it! Good-bye lunch lady land. These uniforms are on their way to someone else to wear!

This drawer was really creating havoc. I solved the problem with $6.88 of organizer. Whew! Much better.

Small bird rather attached to the man of our house. He’s been going to work in the convertible and everything!

Today we journeyed to Harbor Freight to pick up a belated Father’s Day/Birthday present--- a new tool chest. A flurry of tool corralling ensued!

Supplements. I’m attempting all natural treatment for my back. Why do all of these pills have to be so large? They are hard to swallow!

August 12 of 12
It was a busy day. Pablo has been on the “bird cam” this week so our friends could watch him. He spent the day relaxing with his Dad. Notice photo 5, (first one, 2nd row). What’s that saying? Poop happens? Those are my hands holding him in photo number 8. I hope to frame the series of all of our hands holding him.

He was so proud of himself. Up on the bottom perch and then to the top one. His legs and feet are now strong enough to hold him up. We found him balanced here one morning when we woke him up for breakfast.

Craig got a gift card for Target for going above and beyond at work. He OK’d the purchase of all of these lovely frames. The new photo wall will be all matchy and lovely. Gone are the dirty, mismatched frames!

Score! I’ve been wanting a chaise lounge and I found one for a price I was willing to pay. (they even delivered it!) It is in the front hallway waiting for my lovely husband to get it up the stairs for me.

They humored me for the photo, but are not excited about school! Aaron starts 5th grade and Max is headed for 8th. It’s hard to start a new school, hope they do all right.

This little guy was booted from the nest: twice. He is currently in a shoe box on our kitchen table.

OK, My Pampered Chef buddies……..are you in tears? I dropped 3 of them on a concrete counter top at 6:04 this morning. Sigh. It’s a good thing these are open stock and that I had extras!

Not only is the new lawn smaller, but I no longer have to mow it. Kid labor at it’s best! Thanks Max.

This photo has been in the family as long as I can remember. The child in the white garment in the middle is my Grandpa, Max. My son is named for him. I flipped it over as I was getting ready to hang it. I’ve never seen the piece of paper fixed to the back of it. It’s a family tree in my mom’s handwriting. Huh. Go figure.

Lattice crust going on to a peach pie made with GA peaches from the farmer’s market. It was SO good!
